The Quinta Sardonia QS 2017 is an excellent red wine from the Castile and León region of Spain. It comes from organically cultivated vineyards and is a complex blend of several grape varieties:
After fermentation, the wine matures for 20 months in French oak barrels . This long maturation period gives it elegance and depth without overpowering the fruit.
Aroma: Intense notes of dark fruits such as blackcurrants, blackberries, and plums. These are accompanied by spicy hints of cloves, nutmeg, and thyme, as well as floral nuances of violets.
Palate: Full-bodied and structured, with ripe tannins and lively acidity that creates a wonderful balance. The finish is long, with mineral and spicy notes.
Alcohol content: 15% vol.
