Today, after 30 years, we realize that our company was built on travels that revealed to us a complex country with a rich landscape and an astonishing diversity that is unique in the world. These journeys brought us into contact with the traces of an ancient and often overlooked winemaking tradition, full of gestures and experiences.
We were curious to learn how our ancestors worked. How they were able to move tons of stone to shape landscapes and build terraces and patios that are now practically abandoned heritage, yet could still become some of the best vineyards in the world. How they used hundreds of grape varieties, blended to adapt to the diversity of our landscapes and climates.
We learned a lot. We reflected and understood that respect for everything we saw and felt should become the foundation of all our work.
