Finca La Torre

OIL PRODUCTION TRADITION SINCE ROMAN TIMES

They say that a good story is one we never want to end; ours, although it dates back several centuries, has only just begun.

We could begin by noting that the land we are on today was part of the Roman city of Singilia Barba, located northwest of Antequera. At Finca la Torre, these roots can still be seen today in the form of ruins (columns and parts of the mill or torcularium) at the main entrance.

THE NEW PROJECT

In 2010, it was acquired by Agrifutura Holding AG with the goal of producing one of the world's finest extra virgin olive oils. To achieve this, significant changes were made, outdated machinery was replaced, and a new technical team was hired.

After several years of multiple national and international acclaim, the second phase of the project was completed in 2014, the oil mill was expanded and a new trading department was created, enabling the growth and consolidation of the brand.

Finca la Torre is currently represented in 25 countries and exports exclusively 50 tons of organic extra virgin olive oil per year.
