100% Tinta de Toro, pre-phylloxera (root-own Vitis vinifera) and autochthonous. Native, perfectly adapted to climate and soil.
Owned vineyards in Valmediano, La Jara, and Marinacea (Zamora). 11.5 hectares. The average age of the vines is over 100 years. Pruning is done with short goblet pruners. The average altitude of the plots is between 800 and 900 meters. Integrated viticulture, environmentally friendly and in harmony with the rhythms of nature.
Traditional method, 100% manual destemming, berry selection. Fermentation in open French oak barrels with native yeast from our own vineyards, traditional foot press with daily pump-overs. Malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels. 18 months in new French Bordeaux oak barrels.
Cherry-red color with violet reflections. An enticing nose with a layer of ripe black fruit, exotic spices, roasted nuts, licorice, and dried flowers. Lush, fruity, complex, and velvety sensations on the palate, balanced by lively acidity. Well-balanced, complex, and persistent.
