The legendary success story of young Mallorcans began, quite literally, in a garage on the island. With great enthusiasm, they set out to achieve what all the professionals had previously considered impossible: to help Mallorca's indigenous grape varieties – above all Callet, Fogoneu, and Mantonegro – achieve the recognition they believed they deserved.
Thus began a team led by the determined Miquel Angel Cerda and his friend Pere Obrador, tending and cultivating small plots and vines scattered throughout the island, coaxing wines from them that could easily stand comparison with their big brothers on the mainland.
