2018 was a year of balanced conditions in Bolgheri. A cool winter and a warm spring were followed by a summer with moderate temperatures, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly and perfectly. The harvest took place under optimal conditions, resulting in a wine of exceptional aromatic purity and structure.
18 months in French barriques (70% new, 30% second use), followed by 12 months of bottle aging
Color: Deep dark ruby red with violet reflections.
Bouquet: Complex aromas of blackcurrants, blackberries, dark cherry, licorice and fine spices, accompanied by hints of cedarwood, cocoa and graphite.
Palate: A perfect balance between density and elegance. The fruitiness blends with silky tannins and a refreshing acidity. The wine develops ever new facets in the glass, with a long, mineral finish.

Decanting: At least 1–2 hours for younger vintages
