An iconic red wine from Spain's premier Ribera del Duero region – powerful, elegant, and with great aging potential. The Aalto 2022 in the exclusive magnum bottle (1.5l) is the flagship wine of Bodega Aalto, founded by former Vega Sicilia winemaker Mariano García.
Characteristics:
Grape variety: 100% Tempranillo (Tinto Fino)
Aging: 16 months in French and American barriques
Color: Deep dark cherry red with violet reflections
Aroma: Intense bouquet of ripe dark berries, cassis, fine roasted aromas, licorice, cocoa and a hint of vanilla
Taste: Full-bodied, with excellent structure, silky tannins, and perfectly integrated oak notes. Long, elegant finish with mineral freshness.
Recommendation:
A wine for special occasions – the magnum bottle is ideal for aging. Pairs perfectly with hearty meat dishes, game, lamb, or aged cheese.
