Description

Designation of origin: DOC Isonzo del Friuli.

Winemaking: hand-picked and selected grapes, overnight cold maceration, gentle whole-bunch pressing, static settling of the must at 10–12 °C.

Ageing: after alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature, the wine remains in contact with its lees in stainless steel tanks for an extended period.

Colour: straw yellow with greenish reflections.

Bouquet: the nose reveals the character of the growing area, with intense vegetal notes reminiscent of tomato leaves. Bergamot is present, underpinned by hints of medicinal herbs and hay.

Palate: balanced, with hints of bitter almond and a persistent, fresh and savoury finish.

Pairs superbly with fish starters, spring omelettes, asparagus risotto and white meat.
