El Puntido is an outstanding red wine from the renowned DOCa Rioja , produced by the prestigious Bodega Viñedos de Páganos , part of the Eguren family. This single-vineyard wine comes from the "El Puntido" vineyard and embodies the perfection of the terroir and the family's expertise.
Grape variety : 100% Tempranillo .
Origin : The "El Puntido" vineyard is located in Laguardia, in the Rioja Alavesa region, at an altitude of 600 meters. The soils are clay and limestone, which gives the wine its structure and minerality.
Vinification : Fermentation in stainless steel tanks followed by maturation for 16 months in French oak barrels.
Aromas : Intense and complex, with notes of ripe black fruit, violets, spices, tobacco, and a hint of minerality. Subtle roasted aromas complement the bouquet.
Taste : Full-bodied, with velvety tannins, pronounced structure, and well-integrated acidity. The finish is long and elegant, with fruity and mineral aftertastes.
Perfect with game dishes, lamb, beef fillet, stews and aged cheese.
