The Manonera Primitivo 2021 from the traditional Cantine Lizzano shows why Primitivo from Apulia is so popular. In the glass, it presents itself in a deep ruby red with slight violet reflections.
On the nose, an intense bouquet of ripe cherries, dark berries and plum unfolds, accompanied by notes of vanilla, cocoa and a hint of Mediterranean spices.
On the palate, the Manonera is soft and full-bodied, with a dense structure, velvety tannins, and a harmonious, slightly sweet fruitiness. The subtle spice and pleasant warmth on the finish make it an exceptionally approachable, well-rounded, and characterful red wine.
Perfect with grilled meat, pasta with spicy sauces, pizza, savory antipasti or mature hard cheese.
