The Artacho family has a traditional Honda tradition dating back to 1890 and founded Bodegas Riojans together with Rafael Carreras. Signs of this tradition are the gate of the piedra in 1799, which allows access to the family wines and which has been preserved in the entrance to the winery of Cenicero and has special prizes from wines with an earlier foundation, including the medal of gold de la Exposición Universal de Barcelona de 1888.
